Its been a long time now that Cragen and I have fought, lost sleep over, cried, and suffered over trying to decide baby names..(ok, a little dramatic, but there was almost a tear shed, and definitly at least 30 minutes of sleep lost). We have finally got the final roster set and ready to go for a boy or a girl. The girl name was very difficult because Cragen likes girly-girl names and I like unisex names....but finally, we came to an agreement. Cragen is determined that it will be a boy anyway so he said it doesnt matter about the girl name. He said "we will use your girl name, but I know its going to be a boy!" Haha we shall see Cragen, we shall see. But if is a girl, victory is mine!
Here is the final list:
1st Boy: Kylan Joe Retherford
1st Girl: Averyn Rose Retherford
2nd Boy: Tegan Louis Retherford
2nd Girl: Erynn Olivia Retherford
One may ask, "why pic names so early?" To that I say.....We have been doing this since we were engaged, and so its been on our minds before we even thought about starting our family. It doesnt even seem like the baby will ever come because it is so far away, so this is our only thing at the moment that we feel like we can actually do untill we find out the sex of the baby, and then we will have millions of things to do to get ready for Little Kylan or Little Averyn. So this is it, there are no changes or revisions for this roster. Kylan Joe or Averyn Rose will be here in July, and we cant wait!
How do you say Averyn (long A or short A)? It is probably beautiful - just don't know how to pronounce it to get the feel for it.

ReplyDeleteWhat happened to Landon??? j/k! I love the names, they are very original I don't know anyone with those names. Not that that matters, they just have nice "rings" to them.
