9 Months

Weird. He has been out of me almost just as long as he was in me (he was a week late, so almost just as long)! The time definitely went by 10 times faster than the pregnancy. Mr. Carter is a crazy kid. He has been very happy lately and pretty content with crawling around and playing on his own. He still has those moments when he cries like crazy if I am not holding him or when I put him on the ground, but I think that is what babies are supposed to do.






Mr. Carter loves to kiss me, as you can tell in this picture.










We took Carter hiking at "R" mountain during Cragen's week break from school. He loves the outdoors, just like we thought he would. It is still a little cold to go outside all the time, but we try to go out a little everyday. It is so fun to take him outside and see him looking at everything! Cragen is convinced that he is looking for animals already so that he can be a hunter. Whatever makes you happy, babe! I cant wait to go on picnics soon and take him fishing! Cragen lights up when he is able to show Carter his hobbies. Its very cute.



I love this picture. Our friends brought back Mr. Carter's old baby bassinet, which he only used for a week before we came home to California, and he LOVES to play in it! He thinks its the funniest thing to be inside it!

At his 9 month appointment we found out that he is 21.4 pounds (68th percentile) and 29.8 inches (91st percentile), although I think she measured too long! She put the tape measure way over his head!
