Here is my little boy. He is no longer a baby. In one more month he will officially be a toddler. Not sure how I feel about that!I love Carter's laugh! Apparently I am hilarious to him because he was cracking up for thirty minutes straight tonight!
( giving daddy love on Father's Day)Anywho....Mr. Carter is 11 months tomorrow. How did that happen? He has definitely grown up in the last month and has gotten a funny personality. He loves to laugh and do funny things to get a reaction from Cragen and I. He also is starting to copy the things we say and do. Tonight, for example, I was smashing my head into the soft pillows on the couch (like I was doing for the video to get him to laugh). He cracked up, then copied me. Well, a few minutes later he decided to ram his head into the kitchen table....not so funny, apparently. So I guess we really have to watch what we say and do now because he is ready to try new things and start being a little boy, not a baby!
He LOVES being outside. Today, he and I went and laid out on the grass, and he loved it. One of his favorite things to do is take a walk around the apartment complex before bed with Cragen. Their routine is to go to the rock pile and grab a rock, walk around the apartments, look out into the field, walk back to the rock pile, throw the rock back, and walk back inside. This works wonders when he is in a bad/screaming mood as well. We also go to the nature park often to feed the ducks. The other day, we were the only ones there and so all the ducks decided to surround us because we had bread. Mr. Carter tried to chase them, but fell down after a few steps.
Walking isn't coming along as fast as we though it would. Today he did pretty good, but he still prefers to crawl. I can't believe he will be 1 in thirty short days. I don't like time going by so quickly. Its fun to see him grow, but boy am I going to miss him as my little baby!
Jenna! He has grown up so much so fast! What a cutie he's turned out to be :)
